Christmas Traveler

A rare Christmas full moon shines bright,
As you travel the highways tonight.
May it watch over you protectively,
And guide you safely on your journey…
Until you reach your destination,
To be greeted with celebration.
Then, when you slip into sleep tonight,
May it bless your dreams with silvery light.

A Beautiful Night

I listen to leaves rustling in the gentle breeze.
Stars are poised in the sky, sparkling to please.
Like a silver coin, the moon shines down…
Beaming softly over the sleeping town.
Hungry bats fly out to have their nightly feed.
An insect banquet awaits to satisfy their need.
Crickets chirp out their symphony in unison…
Romantically calling for their lovers to come.
Night blankets me with velvety darkness, my love…
While I whisper your sweet name to the heavens above.

Goodnight

It’s late and it’s time for us to say goodnight…
Sleep well, beneath the soft glow of the stars and moon.
Pleasant dreams until tomorrow’s dawning light.
A new morning will be here soon…
And the cheerful sun will be shining bright,
Like an enormous, yellow balloon.

No End

You’re my sun, shining your healing light…
My luminous moon, in darkest night…
A multitude of brilliant stars to me…
A universe of possibilities.

My love for you, deepens and grows…
It floods through me, and overflows.
How can you possibly be real?
There’s no end, to this love I feel.
